Natural History Museum, Los Angeles | February 2017

Matthew and I took a trip to the amazing Natural History Museum down in Los Angeles, in Exposition Park. I highly recommend it--there are SO many things to see, we didn't even get to explore the whole museum! Here are some photos of some of the things that caught my eye... Great photo ops! All in all, I highly recommend a visit or two. There's so much to see, learn, and do. And the cafe ain't so bad, either! :) SCIENCE!

Corrine's Cinderella Quinceañera! | February 2017

This cutie! She was so excited for her birthday extravaganza, and I had so much fun meeting her and her adoring friends and family. The stormy day didn't put a damper on her night! This quince was super creative--they decorated Corrine and the venue to the nines. I loved it! I even had a little bit of spare time to craft a little video for her--That's her singing to her pops!

I got to photograph the most darling Cinderella-themed Quinceañera! This family went over the top with all of the perfect little details. Check out those sneakers--Corrine designed them! She looked gorgeous, and got to spend her big day with her adoring family and friends. What more could a girl need? The background song for this one is Corrine singing to her dad for her presentation. Adorable, right? Totally didn't catch dad shedding a tear or two on camera ;) Anyway, happy birthday (ok, by now it's a half-birthday haha) Corrine!

NEW YEAR'S EVE

Alright, real talk, NYE had some crazy events and was pretty intense in terms of meta, philosophical thoughts. Witnessed a homeless man intentionally cage himself in (homelessness is its own kind of prison!), and then a pigeon egg fell from the heavens (ok, metro station rafters). #miracleofbirth. Matthew tried to take it home and incubate it, but it never hatched. The pigeon probably dumped it on purpose, 'cas she knew it was a bad egg.

When you find a painting of yourself, made in the 1800s...! I had to do some hella double-take. So cool! This lady's essence = me. So good!
